I am a professionally trained and active visual artist and designer with Masters and Doctorate degrees. I work predominately with photographic and digital media. I have teaching experience in higher and secondary education, and I also have trained in media resources for education.
Working on exhibitions and displays for galleries and museums, as well as educational institutions, I have designed and produced displays and exhibitions, presentations, photographic documentation, catalogues, booklets, leaflets and other learning materials.
Recently I have worked with Ullapool Museum on four displays /exhibitions on local history: “ Saving Thomas Telford”, “Full Circle”, “The Story of the Hector” and “A Community at Sea: Working on the Yachts”. This work has included designing and producing display panels, slide presentations and videos, posters and a booklet.
I live in the Loch Broom area, and have a deep interest in the local history, archaeology and geology, which has fuelled my involvement with and contribution to Ullapool Museum.
