As last year the Ullapool Book Festival are in the Literally Literary Tent at Loopallu, with visiting writers who will appear during the day on Saturday 1st October.

Appearing will be singer/songwriter James Yorkston, who published his first novel in the spring, he will read from his book and talk about it with Vic Galloway, they will be joined by young performer and poet, Harry Giles. He was BBC Scotland Slam Champion in 2009.  Miles Hunt, lead singer of The Wonder Stuff, will talk about his latest volume of diaries with BBCs Mark Radcliffe; and Grace Maxwell and Edwin Collins will also be in conversation with Vic Galloway.

Outwith these performances the Literary Tent can be used as a quiet space/reading room with a big selection of books for festival goers to choose from and to take away for free to finish later.
